I recently used JWH Asbestos Removal Svc for removing air ducts and boots in the house. John and Grace were quick and responsive with getting a quote to me, answering my questions/concerns (describing how they would need to setup a path in the house to remove the ducts), and scheduling the work as soon as possible so our HVAC contractor could get to work. The work crew was great to work with and communicated over text when I had a question and asked them to stop by later. I appreciated the follow-up! This is my 2nd time working with them as 1st time a few years ago for acoustic ceiling removed. Asbestos removal is an involved process and I am glad that I worked with JWH to take care of it! My family and I are so grateful for the incredible work JWH Asbestos Removal did in our home. We had a bad contractor who didn’t set up any containment and our entire first floor was contaminated with asbestos. From start to finish, their team was professional and communicative. Grace and Evadne responded to all of my questions quickly and patiently, and they explained the process thoroughly. Once confirmed, Rosa and her team spent four days cleaning and decontaminating our home, and every step of the way they showed respect for our home and our health. Rosa communicated with me over text to confirm items for disposal, and her team was incredibly kind and careful with the items we kept — and they really cleaned EVERY item. At the end of the service, we did a walk through of the home and could tell that they had cleaned with great attention to detail. From initial estimate to work delivery they were extremely easy to work with, responsive and empathetic. I needed asbestos abatement at short notice , they came the same day and provided me with a quote. Then they scheduled the job the very next week Friday. They were careful to do a very clean job and left the house spick and span after they were done. They had mistakenly tripped a ceiling light wire which I only discovered later . When I emailed them about it they responded late on a Friday night and got it fixed the next morning even though it was a weekend. Would recommend them highly.

NO PPE or proper containment protocol. This company does not value your safety or the cleanliness of work. Mold remediation was done in my apartment with a different company days prior to JWH coming in to remove the asbestos affected walls yesterday 4/3/24. Two guys showed up and was already doing demo w the prexisting containment the mold remediation team left up completely OPEN. It was a double containment and both were OPEN during the process of demo. No gloves, no masks, no coveralls....ripping up the moldy, asbestos contaminated walls, getting dust everywhere, all over my floors from the room all the way to the front door. They started sweeping to bag and remove, causing a larger dust up with again, both containments OPEN. The city inspector was on-site checking out the bldg structure when the demo was taking place witnessing the lack of professionalism this company presented. This is my home and my belongings inside this unit where the work was taking place. I am devastated by the work this company provided as a licensed asbestos removal company. I will be submitting a complaint through OSHA next.
