Mark Lightman worked with our insurance company to get them to cover the cost of replacing our roof and fixing all the water damage inside our house. We tried working with our insurance company directly for 3 years to no avail. We engaged Mark to advocate on our behalf. Consruction and home repair has become very complicated. I did not feel qualified to determine costs associated with making my home as it was prior the water damage. I also didn’t feel confident I could count on my insurance company to provide realistic numbers. Mark was professional, honest , timely and well prepared. He handled all communications with the adjuster and was able to secure a reasonable settlement. He also was able to provide names of some qualified professionals for repairs as needed. Bottom line is I believe Lightman & Fields was able to secure a settlement that was greater than I could have on my own. No doubt after fees my net proceed was more than I would have been able to secure on my own.
