I went to Avalon Park Cleaners to get my mother's vintage wedding dress (1943) restored so that I could wear it at my own wedding. It had spent several decades in atticks, garages, closets, etc. and desperately needed to be cleaned. Avalon Park cleaners did a beautiful job getting all of the stains and discoloration out, and were very communicative about the whole process. It was a far drive for me, but definitely worth it to know that my precious dress was in good hands.

I should have listened to the poor reviews just a terrible experience. I had 4 pants I needed hemmed, I called and they said it would be 14 dollars and I had another Tailor charge 12 but this was closer so I went there, after pants where done they call me and say it’s 70 dollars!! 70 dollars for 4 pants to shorten! On top of it, it was a terrible job, just a simple hem, they didn’t keep the original bottom or even create a new bottom, it looks terrible ruined my pants. I brought up my concerns to the lady there and she could care less. Stay away at all cost not worth it

worst cleaners ever. I took over $5000 in clothes to be dry cleaned . from Pants to expensive shirt. all expensive designer clothes which should have been handled with care. half can back shrunk and all items came back glittery . There excuse as we had a wedding dress woth your clothes . i wouid never return and if you want you items done correctly I suggest you stay far from this place .

So unprofessional!!!! I drove an hour to bring my wedding dress to see if they were able to get a stain out of my dress. The owner’s wife sent a video of my dress to her husband who was not present, but does the cleaning, to see if he would be able to do the job & also give me a quote. While on the phone with her husband (on the speaker phone) he says that he can get the dress cleaned and the price would be $900!!!!!! I tell them to hold on & as I’m walking to my vehicle to call my fiancé to discuss the quote they gave me, I receive a text from the owner’s wife that she MEANT to send to her husband & the text said “say no”. Why not just tell me to my face that you will not be able to clean my dress? But you got caught anyway by texting the wrong person!!!! Don’t ever do business with them. Super shady! Unprofessional & dishonest!

If you are looking to get your wedding dress cleaned – look no further! I am truly impressed with how my dress turned out!!! I wish I had taken a before picture…after my wedding, we went downtown and kept the party going. We danced at bars and walked to our hotel-my dress dragging along on the floor the entire time. The ends of my dress were almost black they were so dirty! I am amazed at how they have gotten every spec of dirt/grime off of my dress! Now I want to wear it again! Truly an amazing company AND all their work is done in-house so you don’t ever have to worry about where your dress is or getting it lost. The staff is also extremely friendly. I showed up at 6:00 PM, the time that they close. The woman working held the door open for me an encouraged me to come in anyway. She is so sweet and made me feel so comfortable leaving my dress in their hands. Their pricing is also very affordable! Support your small businesses and look no further. I can’t recommend them enough. A+++
