Air Duct Cleaning

Cleaning of all HVAC supplies, returns, trunk lines and plenum. System is pressurized for cleaning with HEPA filtration to avoid potential cross-contamination. Removes dust, dander, debris and heavy particulates from the air handling system. It is highly recommended the client have a new HVAC filter available for installation upon completion of the service. We are proud members of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association. RECOMMENDATION: The homeowner should provide a new air filter replacement for installation at the completion of the cleaning service.

Carbon Monoxide Test

Carbon monoxide testing of the indoor air quality throughout the home. We utilize an electronic portable toxic multi-gas meter and combustion analyzer which provides an instantaneous result.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Remove lint and debris throughout the dryer exhaust line to reduce the risk of a house fire.

Indoor Air Quality Test

Secure two air samples for lab analysis, one exterior baseline / one interior for comparison. Any additional air samples will be charged at $175 per sample.

Mold Sample

Swab or lift tape from a suspect biological source for lab analysis. The fee includes the initial sample, any additional requests will be charged the discounted rate of $195 per sample if completed during the same visit.

Odor Removal

We will be implementing hydroxyl generators throughout the property to effectively eliminate odors associated with the building's contents, structure, and materials. This process specifically targets odors related to smoke, pets, cooking oils, and more. The chemistry of hydroxyls effectively neutralizes the molecular compounds of the odor sources from the air, structure, and personal belongings. It is crucial for the equipment to be installed prior to any interior painting. Painting can encapsulate the odor sources behind a layer of latex or oil paint, making successful odor removal more challenging. Often, costs associated with painting, carpet replacement, and other related expenses are no longer necessary once the remediation is complete. While you may remain on the property during the remediation process, please be advised that the equipment will generate noise. It is essential for the equipment to operate continuously throughout the entire remediation period to ensure complete odor removal. We kindly request that the machines not be moved or relocated, as this may interfere with or prolong the remediation process. Additionally, the HVAC fan must remain in the ON position to facilitate even airflow circulation throughout the property. Lastly, ceiling fans should be set to medium or high to support this objective. DISCLOSURE: Additional measures such as air duct cleaning, air purifier installation, and carpet and pad removal may be necessary. Direct application of hydrogen peroxide to drywall, baseboards, carpet, or subfloor may also be required. These measures typically apply only to very strong or significant smoke and pet odors.

We recently had our ducts cleaned and we were very happy with everyone within the organization. A friend recommended them and I can't say enough positive things about this business. The office staff was great with getting things scheduled and providing me with information. The crew that arrived onsite (Adam and an assistant) were professional, knowledgeable and very nice. We noticed a high pitch whistly type sound shortly after they left. I reached out to the organization and someone from the leadership team responded explaining what he thought it could possibly be but wanted to send out the technician who did the work to look at things. Adam came the same day and it turned out to be the return (pretty large) on the ceiling wasn't as tight as it could've been and the air leaking out was creating that sound. So, when he walked in my front door, he confirmed a cat odor. As a Realtor, I know that a cat-pee smell is hard to remediate and I was skeptical. We have used Pure Air Environmental more than once since buying our place in 2023. Today, Bryan came out to inspect a radon mitigation system that wasn't doing a good enough job removing radon. (It was originally installed, unfortunately, by another company). We anticipated having to spend some money to get a more powerful fan installed but Bryan noticed that our sump pump was not properly sealed and diagnosed that as the likely cause of the problem. It's really nice to work with an honest company that could have sold us something we didn't need but chose, instead, to let us know we could fix the problem easily and cheaply without the expense of a new fan. I am a retired high school Environmental Science teacher. When our sump pump in the basement needed replacing last week, I knew the installation of the new pump would require the plumbers to break the air tight seal around the lid of the sump pump pit that needs to be in place for our radon mitigation system to work well. Knowing this seal would be broken, I thought this would be a good time to have the radon mitigation system inspected to replace any 12 year old parts that were showing signs of wear and to look at the basement for cracks that might cause the mitigation system to underperform. The original installer of our radon mitigation system was scheduled to come out and seal things up right after the plumbers were done. Through no fault of their own, the company that I hoped to have come out was unable to come out right after the plumbers, so I asked Pure Air Environmental to come ASAP. So, I went a couple of days with the radon seal in the basement broken and could see what the radon levels in the basement would have been for the last 12 years if I hadn't made the affordable investment in a radon mitigation system. I had bought an Aranet Radon Plus detector to share with famly members and friends so they could get current readings, 24 hour and 7 day averages of the radon levels in the living areas of their homes. After that seal was broken, my radon detector was showing radon levels that were 4-5 times higher in the basement than they had been when the radon mitigation system was intact. The radon levels were not just higher, they had risen into an unhealthy range. I quit working out in the basement until Bryan from Pure AIR Environmental arrived. He sealed up the sump pump pit, installed a new, more power fan and followed some cracks that had developed in the basement floor and sealed those up. My radon levels have plummeted and are staying consistently low again. I am back to working out in the basement knowing I am breathing safe air. I talked with Bryan while he worked and was impressed with his understanding of the nuances of radon control. In that period of time before Bryan could come out and seal things back up, I saw how high the levels of radon could get in the basement and thought about how much of that radon contaminated air I would have inhaled from 12 years of cardio workouts down there. Bryan and Pure Air Environmental were rock solid in terms of their assessment of my needs, the information they provided and the work they did. I hope everyone in Indiana has their radon levels checked in their homes. Radon mitigation systems are affordable especially when you think about the protection and peace of mind they bring. In my experience, Pure Air Environmental would be a good company to work with for radon testing in your home and for any installation or maintenance of a radon mitigation system that was found to be needed.
