Vasel and his team were phenomenal. They helped me at a challenging time; I had a flood and had to have most of my contents removed for the renovation. The team handled my items with care, respect, and efficiency. They went over and above to safely pack my items. They stored them safely. The staff was professional, hard working, and courteous. Not only were the employees friendly and efficient it made so much less stress on me during and after the construction. My garage was flooded in September. I reached out to my management company. They are incompetent, but at least they made arrangements for The Contents Department to remove and store my belongings that were in the garage. Vasel was communicative which is in direct contrast to my management company which never communicates. My belongings were returned when promised and everything was clearly labeled in boxes. Communication and good customer service go a long way. I highly recommend The Contents Department.

The Contents Department worked on our house site when it was damaged due to flooding. The team came immediately during holiday season in winter. They were super organized. Each box, they packed, had correct label of the room, contents in it, photo taken and a QR code to refer in the list. This system made it easy for us at a later stage when we went through the inventory of salvageable/non salvageable items. The team is courteous, respectful and laser focused while doing their job. They helped us in unpacking of the boxes and storing them away when the house was ready to move in. You can rely on their team. Vasel, Jamie, Bailey and others are great to work with. Jamie has excellent communication skills and a great project manager. They are very honest and true to their work. I would always recommend them.

Amazing! Thorough! A bright spot and something good after something bad happened. I had a kitchen fire. It only lasted about a minute, but the flames and the smoke did alot in that minute. Smoke and soot everywhere. The fired happened in the kitchen but feels like the smoke found it's way to every room, every wall, the entire duct system, and all our clothes. I couldn't stop thinking I was smelling a fire for days. But that's where The Contents Department stepped in and made a stressful situation better. Vassal made me feel like I was the only customer he had. Three women showed up within 48 hours and went to town!!! They wiped and wiped and wiped and tagged pillows to be taken away. Every book ...every picture frame and nick knack. All the window sills and windows ...and blinds. Door handles. Inside of cupboards and drawers. I joked with my wife ...a small silver lining of the kitchen fire was the cleanest house I've ever lived in ...or at least it felt that way. I had a million questions and Vassel (owner) and his team were patient and friendly. THEN ... part of the "fix" was getting the hardwood floors refinished and The Contents Department is the company that takes all the furniture away, stores it, and then moves it back after the floors are done. I mean ...they did a better job than I would do myself. So careful and caring and didn't miss any details. They wrapped lamp shades and breakables. They moved the piano and THEN ...when the floors were done (beautiful, beautiful new hard wood floors) I asked the guys, "hey, I know you do this all the time but these floors have never looked this good. .. . . are like brand new ..and please put furniture on cardboard or on these blankets I'm leaving for you." Then I asked, "or, if you feel inspired, here's a bunch of felt furniture pad floor protectors and if you could, maybe stick these on the bottom of the legs of some couches and chairs." Well . . . the two guys put felt pads on the legs of EVERYTHING. I never, ever expected that. Treated my house and my new floors like it was their house. Anyone who's ever experienced a house fire knows the massive headache that comes after the fire and working with a company this great helped make it not so bad. That said ... I really hope I never see them again (haha). Don't worry. I told the owner, Vassel, that same thing. Get it? Because seeing them again means I'm having another fire or some tragedy. Hire this company! Hire them yourself or tell your insurance agent ... I'm going with The Contents Department.
