When high winds blew a tree onto our home, punching through to the inside and causing major damage, Sunrise Cleaning showed up shortly after. The company worked directly with our insurance to cover the roof and remove the tree, preventing more damage or injury before repairs were started. Every aspect of permits, the repairs, cleaning and even setting house contents back in their place, was handled for us by their capable and caring staff. Recently had a supply line burst in our home, which resulted in much drywall work, and we needed to vacate house for several weeks. After completion of the job (to our dismay), drywall dust was EVERYWHERE. Extent of it was unbelievable- inside cupboards, on ceilings, walls, furniture, carpet, rugs etc. We were completely overwhelmed...until we found Sunrise Cleaning & Restoration. Bonnie came to evaluate, & assured us she would take care of it. She and her staff proceeded to clean EVERY sq inch of our home- including carpets, upholstery, rugs, linens, clothing, cupboards & windows. Every crevice was spotless. We literally came home to a brand new house; was so clean and fresh I was honestly in tears- not a speck of remaining drywall dust. Aside from the thorough & expert cleaning, Bonnie, Ian and staff were kind, respectful, upbeat, and extremely professional. They treated our home as if it was their own. Sunrise was quite cooperative in scheduling the remedial inside ceiling and wall work and were fine with our request for a substantial delay to ensure that I had otherwise resolved the source of the water damage. When we agreed on a schedule, sunrise staff was always on time, performed the work in a professional manner maintaining reasonable sound and dust barriers. I was impressed by their quality clean up after completion, as this has been an issue with other contractors. No question that I would use them again if I need other remedial repairs. Good folks.

We had a fire in our house due to a fireplace. We were referred to Sunrise from a friend. Sunrise came to our home as soon as they received the call. The people at Sunrise are the most honest, caring, personable, professional, knowledgable, and experienced people you will ever meet. Scott, Bonnie, and the entire crew are absolutely amazing! The service we received from Sunrise is like no other. From the first time we met them, I no longer was feeling stressed about the fire in my house. Bonnie right away made me feel very comfortable. I knew right then I had nothing to worry about, they would take care of everything. I have OCD and my husband does not handle situations like this very well as he stresses very easy. Bonnie and the cleaning crew cleaned the house and everything in it. They even took care of the smoke smell. They were so thorough, extremely polite and professional. They exceeded my expectation. Scott and Bonnie always went out of their way to make sure we were happy and that things were being done the proper way. Scott really worked hard lining up people and making sure everything was finished properly. Everyone from the brick layer, to the electrician, the painter, and everyone involved were very knowledgable and professional. The entire process went so smooth from start to finish. Everything was completed perfectly. The work they did was remarkable! I cannot say enough about Sunrise. Not only did they restore my house from the fire and made it like new, but we have gained new friends. My husband and I truly appreciate everything Sunrise has done for us.

Had a leaky bathroom pipe for 10 days before we noticed the basement ceiling had caved in. Scott and his crew were there next morning. They dried out the house and started the restoration project. Plummers, painters, drywall, carpet layers are just a few of the professionals needed to put my house back together. Scott orchestrated the crews. As a former construction lender I appreciate the tough job it is to get and keep good workers. Delays are inevitable in this market. Parts delays are common in this market. We must have patience. The project is now complete and perfect.

Stolen money and ditched the job. I am in Month 10 of cleanup and repair to a basement bathroom backup. Still not complete and when I found over $4000 he billed the insurance but didn't do the work or fabricated costs for, Scott ghosted me. He hasn't responded in weeks, the job is not done, and I am working with my insurance company to file for Insurance fraud. I trusted Scott and was paying him as he sent invoices. I feel like a fool. Edited 11/6 Apparently, Scott was unhappy with my negative review and has had a lawyer send a letter demanding I correct or retract my review. I am unaware if Sunrise has done this for other negative reviews, but I personally feel it is even stronger evidence I should have avoided them. So, I will correct and retract any mistakes or explain why I feel they are accurate. For -Improperly or illegally stole funds. – As I am not sure what the “legal” definition of ‘stole’ may be, I will clarify that Sunrise included items in their final bill that they are aware have not done and costs for items that were inflated or simply never installed. I came up with a little over $4000 but it can be argued that it is less since Scott charged for 5 doors both sides and claims to have painted 2 and ½. I cannot find any that were painted but those arguments could fluctuate the overcharges. Regardless, I was billed and he was paid for, a significant amount that was not done. I may have been mistaken on whether that is “stealing” or some other legal definition, it is still accurate I feel we should be refunded the money for these overcharges. As for Illegally or improperly abandon(ing) the project. I wrote “he ghosted me”. By that I mean since October 12th I have texted as well as sent multiple emails. I received one email on the 17th saying he was reviewing the issues but the only other correspondence to date has been a letter from his lawyer demanding I remove my review. Further August 21st I believe, Scott was out to review things that needed to be finished. He made a list and said they would be fixed or completed and has not been back since. Whether that is illegal or improper abandonment I can’t say but I feel the term “ghosted” is fair. Regarding Insurance fraud, I apologize if I am confused as to the definition of Insurance Fraud. Scott charged the Insurance company, collected the funds and did not complete or install many items he was paid for. He has not refunded these overcharges. If that is not Insurance fraud, I misspoke. I do feel it was improper if not outright illegal. To that end my review reflects my thoughts on the experience accurately. The letter also said I claimed Sunrise had illegally or improperly ceased all communication, but I said he ghosted me. He may still be planning to contact me but it’s been weeks without word and months with out progress. I still feel ghosted. If Sunrise were to refund the overcharges and charges for work not performed, I would be happy to note that in a new review or retract the appropriate items from an existing one.

My place of employment was broken into 4 times in 2016. Each time we called Sunrise for the board up until we can get the new glass installed. Scott and Bonnie McCorvie the owners of Sunrise were quick, prompt, very professional and did an excellent job. Sunrise also does more than you can imagine. From board ups, restoration, contents removal and carpet cleaning they do the while 9 yards. Scott, Bonnie and the entire staff will take care of anything you need done.

Our cat managed to turn the water on in our bathroom in the middle of the night. We woke up to a flood in our entire house. We called Sunrise and they came out immediately. They were there every step of the way to help us with clean up, repairs, contents and navigating the insurance world! Our new floors are beautiful! I can not thank Scott, Bonnie and crew enough for everything.

Moving out of state is not easy or fun. Then frozen burst pipes happen. Scott McCorvie and his Sunrise team was professional and thorough. He instilled confidence with me and more important, in our home buyers that all would be restored and ready for move in.
