Bear was recommended by my insurance company after a pipe broke in my house but my experience was terrible. Bear was supposed to contact me same-day but didn't actually respond until the next day, and didn't actually come out until the day after (by which time I'd rented equipment and done the water clean up myself). They took (literally) weeks to submit my repair cost estimate to the insurance company. When I complained to the owner, he agreed to put a rush on my job (starting that Friday). Nobody showed up and it was the week after that I finally got a call. By this point I'd arranged to have a lot of the work done by another contractor. Upon learning that they weren't getting the whole job, Bear refused to do any. I learned after the fact this when I called to see why their crew no-showed again. They're sketchy and the staff are rude. It has been my experience that they're only interested in getting all they can from your insurance company and actually getting your job done in a timely manner doesn't matter to them. Stay away from these guys at all costs.

Bear restoration performed quality work, was very professional, respectful, and responsive. Very easy to work with. Every question and request was responded to immediately and professionally. I truly enjoyed working with Joseph, the crew chief. He was so friendly and easy going, never hesitated at any of my requests, including some changes I wanted that required changing what had already been done. I was working on related projects that were not under the contract, and they gave me tips and lent me tools, also brought in a plumber and electrician who helped me on my projects. The only improvement I can suggest is that a manager underestimated the time it would take to complete the job (I have rarely worked with a contractor where this was NOT the case), but they worked well with me to finish things up fairly quickly. I recommend Bear Restoration without reservation to anyone needing home restoration.

This company was recommended to help evaluate a leak. I never talked to anyone but a dispatcher. Wanted someone to look at the situation and give me an estimate ( the leak detector suggested that a wall might need to be opened, or the foundation evaluated). They charged me $150. The Workman came 45 min early before anyone was out of bed. He said he was here to open a wall not do an estimate or evaluation. Nothing was done but it cost me the $150

The most unpleasant and unprofessional restoration company in town. We called them to confirm an appointment and thier customer service representative loved the use of profanity. The workers were rude in a hurry . I do not recommend that anyone use this company.

I was charged for an estimate despite never actually receiving one. Someone did come and look at the damaged rooms but no one gave me an estimate now nearly two months later they are saying I owe them $ for the estimate. No other company charged for the estimate and they actually furnished them. Take your business elsewhere.

Bear did a great job on our basement flood. We had a massive sewage back up that destroyed about 3000 sf and they removed all materials, dried it out and worked fast! Highly recommend!

The worst experience I've ever had. They were never on time, did a terrible job with all of our renovations. They also attempted to scam us out of a large amount of money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
