Eclipse Flooring

I recently used Eclipse Flooring in Phoenix thru a partnership with Lowes. The experience was less than favorable. It started with the scheduling of the install, the Eclipse employee scheduled an install for a Friday she explained to me that the install would take about 2 days, the job would be completed with multiple installers, and those installers work on weekends. Friday arrives and the installer was 30 minutes late, he explained the install would be 6.25 days and he does not work weekends. He showed up by himself, he worked for 1.5 hours then left explaining he did not bring his required tools to complete the install and that he would return. He returned with another installer 4 hours later and they worked for 1.5 hours. First day install actual hours worked was 3 hours. After calling to complain, I was told the install would not take 2 days but 3-5 days. The owner then reached out to me, he explained that I was never quoted a 2-day install and he was on the phone training his new employee during the scheduling of the install. The owner then proceeded to explain they would get the install done as quickly as possible without rushing and compromising the “quality,” of work. Therefore, to sum up this experience the owner basically called me a liar and said I was never quoted a two day install. I had scheduled all of my deliveries based around the 2-day install quote; I had to call 4 different companies including 3 different trades to push back their deliveries/services. Back to the install: Saturday arrives the installers showed up at 7am, one installer left at 9am and after hours of waiting for him to return, I called to complain. After I called to complain the installer that was on site confronted me and asked why I called to complain. After some time the installer returned to the job at 12:30pm, when he arrived, both installers took a lunch break. They worked until 2:30pm. The main installer worked for a total of 3.5 hours on Saturday. I expected them to tell me what time they would arrive on Sunday. They informed me they do not work on Sunday. Monday arrived they showed up around 7 am, after about an hour of install time the installer left to get doughnuts. After that, the two installers worked until about 7:30pm which was commendable. Tuesday arrived and they began putting on quarter round molding along the bases boards and installing the transitions (Laminate Floor). Once the job was completed I asked if they caulk the quarter rounds to hide any seams or gaps, I was told no they do not, nor do they fill the holes left by the nail gun. I later found that the transitions that were installed were nailed to the floor, and the metal strip that is required to hold them down was never installed. There are now holes in my transitions as well as nails sticking up through the floor. I called again to complain, they are coming to correct the “quality,” work the owner assured me I would receive. As far as I am concerned, I should get the cost of labor refunded and an apology from the owner. I do not recommend this company. Poor customer service and poor quality of installation.

We had Eclipse install our new carpet through Lowe’s this week and had a great experience! Jesus and Ramone were professional and friendly. They worked quickly and got our home done in less than two days, including moving ALL the furniture. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I was initially frustrated trying to get them to call me about setting up the instal. But once we set it up and they got started it was smooth sailing!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Don't use them to install your flooring. I had a job where they had to level the subfloor, and install luxury vinyl plank. It looked good at first, but after only a month the planks started breaking due to the subfloor not being level, and they refuse to stand by the installation warranty. Just do yourself a favor and buy product from a reputable source and have a more reputable contractor do the install.

Eclipse was our installer through Lowes. Got my job scheduled and quoted a week. A single guy came to do the work (with an occasional “helper”). After 3 weeks of showing up late and only working a few hours each day, he disappeared on us, with job not done. Here I am another 3 weeks later and he still hasn’t shown up to finish my grouting and baseboards. I have called Lowes and Eclipse 3 times throughout this process and have not gotten any follow-up from either. If a customer has had to call that much and has paid you as much as we have, shouldn’t there be some follow-up on how the installation is progressing? Extremely disappointed in both companies and would not recommend either. Stick with local small business. I purposely went through Lowes to avoid this issue….never again!

Eclipse flooring was assigned to us through Lowes as our floor installers for my clients investment property. They were wonderful from the start, always giving us updates on when we should expect the material to arrive. They did a great job installing and following up after to make sure everything was to our liking. Would recommend and use again!

The gentlemen who came out to install our new floor were completely professional. Both worked really hard and transformed our kitchen/laundry room from grotty and outdated to a modern look. We just had new cabinets installed and they took their time to protect them from damage from the old tile removal. They kept us updated on their progress. Their offfice called to see how things were going, amazing customer service. They cleaned up after themselves and left our home clean. Highly recommend them to anyone who needs flooring updated. Disappointed I can only give them a 10, their score deserves to be so much higher! Thank you Eclipse Flooring!!!

I used Eclipse Flooring threw Lowe's. I had no trouble with getting an estimate or setting up a date for install time. We decided to go threw with them because they are the only ones who will take down and put back up old molding. Everyone was extremely nice and courteous. Job was done as expected if not better because how they handles some situations that came up along the way. Floors are done and in the time I was told. I love my new flooring.

I unfortunately ended up working with this company through Lowes. The crew installed my clay tiled incorrectly (I have confirmed this with the manufacturer), got the tiles absolutely disgusting with boot prints, liquid spills, thinset and grout stains everywhere, and then sealed right over the top so it’s permanently dirty. They are refusing to take responsibility for this and have now been stringing me along for six months to avoid giving me a partial refund on this 600-square foot job so that I can have the floor professionally stripped and repaired. They have cancelled same-day multiple times, no-call-no-showed multiple times, sent non-tile crews to do the tile job, told me it’s normal for grout to be this discolored, told me the chips and scratches in at least a quarter of the tiles is normal. The list goes on. They also disappeared with all of the quarter-round I paid for — didn’t install it and didn’t leave it for me to return and get a refund on. My home is tiny and this project took up almost the entire thing. I had to rent a room to live in and keep my dog in for months because the house was uninhabitable. I ran myself out of vacation time to accommodate this unprofessional company and have this to show for it. I am hopeful they will make this right. I look forward to updating the review once they do.

Eclipse was the designated installer through Lowe's. I ordered the tile from Lowe's and added the additional 10% recommended by Lowe's website. When it came time to order the install, Eclipse asked me to purchase and additional 8 tiles to complete the job. I declined and hired other installers who had enough tile to cover an additional 9 feet and still had two tiles left over.

I had the unfortunate experience of hiring this flooring company to work on two small bathrooms in my home, and I must say it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I had repairs that needed to be done due to the first worker's mistakes. However, I felt pressured and rushed into accepting the repairs from the second worker's suggestions, which, quite frankly, seemed as makeshift as using bubble gum and duct tape. Now I'm left with horrible work and am so dissatisfied and unhappy about it. Their work was nothing short of horrendous. Tiles are uneven, grout lines are messy, and the overall finish is shoddy at best. It's as though they have no idea what they are doing! To make matters worse, they left a mess behind, with debris and discarded materials scattered all over. I had to spend extra time and money cleaning up after their incompetence. I would strongly advise anyone considering this flooring company to steer clear. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and money, and find a reputable and professional contractor who knows what they're doing. This company is an absolute disgrace.
