BBB Complaint September 12, 2018 May 2018 to present (September 12, 2018). Project was to add shower to existing bathroom located in the laundry area of my house. Time was of the essence to move my parents (84 and 99) into my house so I could care for them. Work stopped on July 11, 2018 because I demanded the proper permits to go forward. Left with a demolished laundry room with no sink, running water or bathroom. Tried to get full dumpster replaced since July 30, 2018. Still on my property, full. Remediation consisted of removing contaminated material while using my scarf to block bottom of door to stop the spread of mold. Ridding the mold consisted of setting off a "bomb". What a joke. How does he even have a remediation license? Never offered to hook up washer/dryer temporarily while applying for permit, which he never applied for. Central air conditioning line required me to empty 5 gallon bucket 3-5x's/day. Con artist masquerading as a contractor. Talks a good talk, keeps asking for additional deposits. When he gets some more money you are not a priority. Never worried about getting sued and having a judgement against him that you could never collect. He knows the law and knows that if he starts a job and leaves inventory on your premises that it is not theft and he can basically do as he pleases...bad contractor that is all. Refuses to get proper permits to continue job. Theft occurred by his employees while on job. Conjures a story to avoid reimbursement, "oh it was a mistake, no theft" as he has his employees return the stolen item after commercial use; wet/dry vac. Will not replace full dumpster (even though his employees used it from other jobs). Subpar work at best from unqualified workers. His workers come and goes like a revolving door. Does not carry workman comp insurance, which is illegal. Damaged clothes washer from workers laying 18 2x4's on unit. Others also have fell victim to his business practices. How does this even happen without recourse?
