We had a leak in our kitchen and due to insurance, the project took over 3 months to take care of. I do not blame Belfor for this, but I think they partnered with a cheap contractor and didn't care to help us. A couple of years later, our kitchen floor is coming up. My husband has had to call the contractor many times to come back in to fix the flooring. He comes in with his crew and quickly glues down the floor and leaves. This has happened 4 times already and we have decided not to reach out anymore. It's tiring having to constantly call them out and them trying to pencil us in to come back out. The floor peels up and brakes apart so often. It cracks when we walk on certain parts. Maybe the flooring was cheap and this is the issue. I'm not sure. I'll eventually have to have my kitchen flooring redone and I'm not happy about it. Flooring should last longer than a few months to a few years for sure. I had a guy come in and work on one of our appliances after the fact and he mentioned how bad of a job they did on the floor. They also put our cabinets and appliances outside on our carport while it was raining for weeks as they waited on insurance to respond. The cabinets started looking flemsy and they still used them. My stove was put out there as well and was cracked along the way of removing and putting it back in. I told them about it and they offered to deduct $300 from our bill, which is crazy because a new stove costs more than that. The contractor forgot to attach the island counter and my son leaned on it and it flipped off into the floor. They also cut it unevenly and we had to call them to cut it smaller to fix the issue and then asked them to glue it down. They finally did this, but it was only after reaching out many times. This experience has taught me to speak up for sure. I will never allow someone to take advantage of us again. We will never recommend Belfor to anyone. I'd hate for them to be messed over by thousands of dollars when the job was terrible. Just was fixing a piece of my flooring and decided I should have left a review a long time ago.
