They lied to my insurance and said I refused to allow them to check on my damaged equipment. When I clearly have pictures of them checking equipment. 10th June 2024 a tornado can through my neighborhood in Summerville SC. I wasn’t the only house with damage. Every house on my street had server damage roof, fences, down power lines ect. My wife and I had a tree total loss her car and my landscaping trailer. My equipment was damaged inside by water and jolt of tree. I have clearly explained this to my insurance, sent pictures, and emails. I was told by my insurance that a second associate from this company would be stopping by to check equipment. The associate came I let him inside my trailer. He came out of trailer and started asking me questions when my insurance company told me that they were coming to just check equipment. After I told him that I have already told my insurance, his company, and the last associated with his company. He left and called his company. His company admitted to my that I have already provided that equipment doesn’t work and they still needed to come back again. I recommend no insurance company use them unless they video record there visit as proof that they did there job. I have not received 1 red penny on my claim.

Amazing care and handling of our piano and artwork after a water main broke in our wall, flooding the first floor. Expert and professional, clean, considerate, smart and efficient— the group of people in this house took our belongings for several months while floors and cabinets were being restored and replaced. As if by magic, the paintings and piano were brought back, looking as if they had never been taken away. I was quite amazed by their expertise. I would definitely recommend them. I am so grateful that our home insurance referred them to us. So happy to see our artwork back in our home. Phenomenal job done well.

The folks from ERS were extremely professional, and provided us with a first rate experience after a lightning strike caused a large fire to our home in 2018. They cleaned, restored, and individually wrapped every piece of artwork they were able to salvage, and detailed each item on an extensive inventory listing they shared with us (including a color picture of each item). Upon returning our artwork to our new house 2 years later (12/2020) we asked them to hang many of our large paintings, along with a number of larger, heavy mirrors. ERS was charged to take care of our electronics after a lighting strike to our house caused a significant fire and related smoke and water damage. Our electronics came back from ERS in working order and their service was very professional and FRIENDLY. Mike and his crew went above and beyond to make sure our stuff was properly taken care of. They also installed a 55" TV on the wall for us, eliminating that task for us. Hope you never need to use their service because of a fire, but they are the ones to call if you have that misfortune. When the time comes to service any of our electronics for routine maintenance, we will call ERS.

After a house fire, we have dealt with several companies. One claims to leave your home “like it never happened,” but that is for another, very different review. I have been completely shocked and disappointed by the lack of ethics and obvious gouging with most of these companies. The exception is ERS. ERS has been professional, thorough, skillful, responsive, and kind throughout the process. Their ethics, fairness, and honesty have been clear and consistent in every aspect of the situation. I highly recommend them. Going through a trauma is extremely difficult. You don’t really have time to research the companies that come in to “help.” You are inundated with vulture-like companies and people who are there to take advantage of your confusion and pain. Be careful. I am most appreciative to ERS for being the one company that restored my faith in the fact that some people actually want to do the right thing while they earn their living.
