Hello, I just want to express a few concerns and experiences I have had with this company regarding a quite extensive and large roof repair/insurance claim. What was initially a great experience from the start, has now turned into a very unfortunate customer service experience. We previously have had our entire roofing replaced through our Nationwide provider for an estimated $33,000 worth of work. The work was done in 2017, 4 years ago. Over the past few months, we experienced leakage underneath in the room that CMP restored previously in 2017. They were able to come by pretty quickly to assess the roofing right above the leaking. The inspector claimed that it was due to the winds that caused the leakage, and issue on the roofing and shingles flew away. He used the example of if "If we were to install windows on your house, and the wind broke the windows within 4 years, it is not covered by our 10 year warranty." From there, he stated that CMP was not liable for the workmanship provided 4 years ago. In addition, he did not want to talk, or state his name, and asked me to contact my insurance if I had any questions about what company is providing this service. A different restoration/roofing company assessed the situation, and stated this was due to the quality/workmanship of the previous company that completed the work (CMP). After speaking with my insurance, I have found Roger to be the gentleman that was rude, and provided terrible customer service when he visited today. I plan to hire a different reputable company, as I can see why we were receiving such terrible customer service from Roger today, to complete the repair for CMP's poor quality work on our roof. Will not recommend to anyone that needs a serious and expensive roof repair. There are plenty of other options available in the NOVA area that will provide a better quality of work and customer service. Never have I have encountered such a unprofessional inspector. CMP is used by my neighbor for property Management. My neighbor is an ambassador. CMP coordinated with a tree removal company to take down a large, dead tree that was damaging my home and vehicle. They gave me less than 24 hours notice and I was out of town and could not remove my car. This was after six months of asking. I returned that night and the car was covered in multiple blankets and all appeared well UNTIL the next morning when some random individual was replacing my windshield WITHOUT my knowledge or permission. After I settled down, I was ok and assumed when the work was complete, I would have all the warranty and paperwork in hand. I NEVER RECEIVED IT!!!!. To complicate matters, the car leaked and was flooded during a sever rainstorm the next day. Roger, who has been named several times, was completely unprofessional and began stalking my home. I had to call the police on him which, because it was an ambassador, also required the Secret Service. BEWARE of this company and be BEWARE of Roger if he is still working there. He may appear to be a professional at first, but he is one scary thug that frightened me.
